Louis Armstrong is one of those characters that make you smile whenever you remember him.  
His personality and performances of songs like "It's a Wonderful World" were full of joy. 
In reality, his childhood in New Orleans was spent in poverty and gaining the success he deserved as a black entertainer during this era, was far from easy. It is this hard earned recognition that I wanted to capture of this great man, know globally as Satchmo.
